In general, fatty liver or steatosis is a condition where there are access fats in the liver. If left untreated, it can cause the person suffering to suffer from complications such as liver problem or anything more serious and damaging.
Fatty liver can cause inflammation at the liver cells that is known at steatohepatitis. It is normally associated with the consumption of liquor or alcoholic beverages. However, the same condition could also happen without associating it with liquor consumption which is known as non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).
Besides the condition above, factors such as tuberculosis, imbalance diet and small intestinal bypass surgery for obesity and heavy consumption of drug prescriptions are the also the cause for fatty liver. However, study has shown that food with high cholesterol and fatty substances do not contribute directly towards it as there are cases where patients have low fat level in their blood stream.
Researchers have proven that fatty liver was one of the main contributing factors for a decrease in liver enzymes which are normally produced by liver cells during inflammation of the particular cells.
Signs:
Most fatty liver patients do not report their health status. However, research has proven that fifty percent complainants are due to fatigue and pain or discomfort at the upper part of their abdomen. Once their condition changed from steatohepatitis to fibrosis and cirrohsis, these patients will experience liver problems, edema, swelling of the feet, fever and jaundice.
People prone to the risk of fatty liver:
- High consumption of alcoholic beverages
- Not taking a balance nutritional diet
- Obese
- Reye syndrome (amongst children)
- Pregnancy
- Overdose of drugs and medicine
- HOW LIVER TONIC HELPS TO TREAT FATTY LIVER?
The Liver Tonic is produced specially to treat liver problems. It helps to treat patients with acute fatty liver by getting rid of the fat that settles at liver cells while reducing symptoms faced by the patients. The healing process depends on the liver enzyme reading (GGT). A higher reading will require about 3-12 months consumption of the Liver Tonic. The liver fatty could be screened through liver function or scan test and if a patient has symptom, white patches on the liver could be seen during the scan.
- HOW TO GAUGE THE EFFECTS AFTER USING THE LIVER TONIC?
In general, patients with swelling/puffy liver will notice adverse effects on their symptoms. In normal cases, jaundice and edema will subside, and fever will heal. However, for edema to heal completely is depending on the severity of damage on the patient’s liver. Patient will notice changes at least within the first week of consuming the Liver Tonic. Normally, the healing process that uses herbal medicinal properties requires a longer process as it heals the main factor of the symptoms, not the symptoms itself.
There are cases where patients do not show any physical changes within the initial three months but, after undergoing clinical tests, the enzyme level have shown a substantial decrease in its reading.
To stop consuming the Liver Tonic, patients must at first, ensure that their physical symptoms and liver enzyme reading are at the normal level. Though have healed completely, patients are advised to continue with the Liver Tonic on a supplementary dosage or change to HBs 2 as supplements according to patient’s affordability.
